  WHAT IS HEALTHY EXERCISE?
   
   

The most important exercise we do in any given day is to negotiate gravity. This is why the vast majority of our muscles are anti-gravity or postural muscles. The correct activity of our postural muscles is the key to healthy movement and successful exercise habits for life.

Postural muscles are responsible for the health and integrity of our skeleton - they decompress and align our skeleton. One thing is certain and simple - when the skeleton is correctly aligned and decompressed our movement is natural and efficient, our exercise capacity greatly enhanced.

SCIENCE
The vast majority of our muscles are postural muscles. These postural muscles are designed to work all day, every day at a low level i.e. 30 - 50% of their capacity. These muscles can be trained and toned ANYWHERE, ANY TIME.

ALIGNMENT
Postural muscles are responsible for establishing and maintaining the integrity of our skeleton and determine our skeletal alignment especially when we sit, stand, move or exercise and negotiate gravity.

BODY SHAPE
The correct activity of postural muscles means perfect posture for optimum body shape.

TONE
Postural muscles create the framework or certainty for the efficient balanced toning of large outer muscles - expending minimal or appropriate effort.
